South London musician Lou Terry releases new single 'Warmly, Alexandria' and announces new EP of the same name set for release on February 10th with The state51 Conspiracy. The track is a warm ode to US politician and activist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, lyrically musing on the conundrums of moral responsibility in the anthropocene era and how people's resilience can inspire you out of cynicism, as Lou states "It’s a steady and cyclical song about admiration for people who don’t give up on trying to make the world better, despite everything... It’s about trying to take that and realise that it’s not always up to us to give up on things, even if the future looks pretty bleak." Utilising his skills as a songwriter and innovative software builder, Lou creates wide sonic palette that fuses digital and organic sounds; scattered electronic drums set a steady pulse as meandering guitar lines and humming electronic details hover around Terry's distinctive wavering vocals.
